When I was poorly, Mary was brilliant and she stayed with me one day waiting for the district nurse to arrive. Whilst we waited we discussed whether the nurse would come on her bicycle just like Nerys Hughes from the TV series! The nurse eventually arrived not on her bike much to our disappointment and tried to go to my next door neighbour by mistake. So Mary leapt into action and ran outside waving her arms in the air shouting to the nurse to come to the right house and why wasn't she on her bicycle!! We were laughing so much the poor nurse thought we were all mad.
I think that says it all, must be the crazy Trowsdale in us.
