It was Tuesday 29th December 2015, we were having our Christmas buffet with the local Trowsdale clan, food was aplenty and drinks were flowing,
You had brought your usual 125ml bottle of M and S red wine with you, it went down quite easily and the bottle was soon empty. I offered you some of our red that was already open and you asked what is was, I advised you it was an Italian (I cannot remember the type). You said you didn't like Italian wine, to that I began to look in the cupboard for a red wine that wasn't Italian.........
I didn't find any red that wasn't Italian so I took out a bottle of Sicilian red and pretended to read the label telling you it was Chilean. You then tried and it told me it'll do! Drinks continued to flow and the merriment carried on.
I apologise for telling you that little white lie but felt it was necessary at the time. Little did you know, you didn't actually mind an Italian red and it wasn't even from M and S!
