The first time Mary came to our house was when my mother in law was in hospital. Mary and Chris came round to make sure we were ok and see if we needed anything. Being new to the family and not used to people coming round to the house I wasn't too prepared for this. Mary and Chris came into the lounge and sat and had a chat which was fine until Mary said could she use the toilet. I said yes then as she got up I suddenly remembered we didn't have a door on the bathroom and it was right at the top of the stairs that were in the lounge. I was so embarrassed when Mary just said "don't worry I'll sing!!" She made me laugh so much that it was the start of our friendship. After that it became a running joke but at least Ian finished the bathroom and fitted a new door. Love Vicki
